Nemanja Maraš was born in Belgrade in 1989, where he got his BA Degree in Applied Arts - Photography from the Faculty of Applied Arts (2012) and MA in Digital Arts at Faculty of Media and Communication (2019). A photographer, visual artist, director, professor, ambassador and many things more.

In the beginning his main focus was fashion photography (2007), but Nemanja's interest started expanding to conceptual and fine art. After many years of exploring he found that Portrait photography and exploring the human subconscious, the face behind the mask is what interest him. He cooperated with many local fashion designers, musicians, actors, influencers, publishing, fashion and advertising agencies, as well as humanitarian and nongovernmental organisations and other. It is an overlapping mix of media based on photography and video, and exploring the always changing fields of social media, advertising and fashion. But what he enjoys most is content creation and video production in digital advertising. As a part of his artistic career he had 10 solo exhibitions, one published photo book, and a number of group exhibitions. In 2014 he became a member of ULUPUDS (the association of applied arts artist and designers of serbia) and in 2020 the first Serbian - Sony Imaging Ambassador. At the age of 25 he started his tenure as an assistant professor at the Belgrade Dance Institute and he advanced to Associate Professor by the age of 30. He was a guest lecturer at many workshops and panel discussions but also held a few lectures on Portrait and Self-Portrait at the Faculty of Media and Communications. He founded two companies for video production NOIR Multimedia and MONOHROM ltd. both currently operating in Serbia and abroad.
