Danilo's painting is a journey through time, where the past and the present meet and merge, creating an instant moment; just like in a photograph that captures the emotions of the characters when they express themselves to the fullest and tell us their personal stories, of a poetic and ironic life.

Danilo Buccella is an Italian artist, grandson of a garden architect and raised in the Italian countryside, where at the moment his studio is based. His works can be positioned between figurative and abstract painting. The characters are played in vivid natural environments and always have a magical connotation. In its entire production, time is suspended between spaces and emotions.
Danilo's painting is a journey through time, where the past and the present meet and merge, creating an instant moment; just like in a photograph that captures the emotions of the characters when they express themselves to the fullest and tell us their personal stories, of a poetic and ironic life.
In the landscapes of Danilo's works, the sunset is the protagonist. The artist suggests a man wrapped in nature, a new nature -dreamed of and grandiose- that exceeds the limits of space, that enters a house with the force of the wind or inundates the canvas. Danilo puts the force of dreams on a pair with the force of nature, leading us to reflect on the environment, on climatic changes and the changes of the soul.
His works are part of important private and public collections like Deutsche Bank, Museo di Bergamo, Museo di San Marino.
